Career Development and the Journey of a Lifetime

Watch here
Career development can be one of the most challenging tasks that we will ever face, but it can also be one of the most rewarding and inspiring journeys of a lifetime. Rather than feeling as if we are responding to a world that seems out of control, we can take ownership of our situation, live deliberately, and navigate a path toward a meaningful life. Career development can also be liberating because it helps us know who we are and what we want out of life. It can also provide purpose, direction, and hope. This program covers the following topics: inevitable change, personal identity, career development, job search, resumes, cover letters, search engines, local employers, local employment agencies, local education or training opportunities, video chat or meeting apps, motivational books and movies, and life’s journey. Whether in the midst of a pandemic or any other time, this program can become an invaluable addition to your portfolio as you explore careers, search for jobs, or just consider options. It is a concise reference with many tools in one convenient package. For some, it might even become a traveling companion along the journey of a lifetime. Bon Voyage!
